The crypto course and content are extremely outdated? What are you thinking??

a lot of typos. e,g. county vs. country.

I have been looking for a course about Crypto

This course needs an outline because of the new terms used and definitions. Crypto is new...many of us just want to understand the material. It could be displayed better and brought up to date.

very complex & time consuming --- needs to be reorganized

If the intent was to scare me from ever using, or recommending, cryptocurrency, you succeeded. The course was totally outdated, like many reviews stated. Hard to follow the course logic. Many contradictions.

The content of this course was incredibly complex and ridiculously long and detailed. Way too complex and detailed for most trying to learn a basic understanding of this marketplace. It took me 5 hours to get through the materials and I did not learn and retain very much because of this complexity

Content was somewhat outdated.

Some of the course information was dated and did not include current significant developments the approval of Bitcoin ETFs by the SEC.

This course has not been updated for several years. It's references to current events is out of date.

This exam needs to be updated immediately since so much has changed with regulations since I beleive this was written in 2022. Very disapointed with this fact.

The audio did not track with the content and had to be constantly re-engaged.

Well structured for a new and difficult subject

I have used WebCE courses for several years. I like the formats. This is the first time I'm taking classes for multiple license requirements - I'm used to getting a "package" deal of a bunch of classes for a reduced fee. That wasn't offered = I prefer that.

I would prefer that the Continuing Education for CFP was stated at continuing education instead of "Certification". I was thinking it was to become certified as a new CFP. I called in for clarification. Thanks for providing a telephone number.

Good quality, ease of use, and fast reporting to the CFP Board make WebCE my preferred CE provider.

This was only a 2 hour CE and I was expecting basis 101 learning. This took me what, 6 hours....? WAY over my head.

This course is very outdated. Updating it would make it more relevant and interesting.

I would suggest having someone edit this course. There were many typos, repeated words, etc. I could still follow the information, but it was distracting. Also, since there are so many changes happening, it would be nice to have more updated info.

Exceptionally well written for a very complex area. One of my CE courses I have learned the most in.

I'd love to see this course updated. For example, there are now crypto ETFs available, FBTC and FETH among others.

My only suggestion is to update the data which is now very dated. You're talking about record values in bitcoin from 2023! It's now 2025 and all those records have been broken. Still, I learned a lot.

This course like other sources I have consulted on the topic of cryptocurrencies fails to explain their intrinsic logic: their exact relationship to blockchain technology and the like. For example, in order to create bitcoin, a ledger is created electronically on the internet. Everything in that very simple proposition--that a ledger is created--has to be broken down and made transparent, beginning with the term "ledger." I use perplexity.ai to address questions like this. It instantly gave me a clear and easily graspable illustration, together with an explanation, of the relevant sense of "ledger." Why not the web.ce course?

All of the information was relevant and pretty up to date considering the evolving nature of the digital asset market.

It appears the course was finalized around March 2023. Because two years have gone by, it might make sense to have the authors update it with stories or relevant information from the past two years.

This topic is new and your course didn't help me understand many of the concepts. The contents of this course use a lot of industry jargons that makes the understanding very difficult and a rewrite using familiar terms/examples is needed for educating those who are new to this topic.

not enough constructive learning ie comparing Cryptocurrency /to the US system of buying selling on xchanges- how to make and lose money on the xchange

There were many times when I chose an answer, then switched my answer to the correct one, and when I graded the exam, my first answer was graded, not the correct answer I switched it to. This happened like four times.

Good course overall, but the section on crypto regulation could be improved. Right now, it is just a bunch of facts and descriptions of court cases. The regulation section could benefit from some synthesis and stating the key concepts.

Digital assets have many 'faces' and quite a bit of complexity. This course summarized things pretty nicely.

Needed to be more beginner level. So much indepth content for someone who only knew super basic information about cryptocurrency. I became frustrated and did not learn much.

In the course the author states "Finally, crypto also uses incredible amounts of energy for mining activities and is widely used in crime." The statement "widely used in crime" has been largely debunked. The USD is used MUCH more frequently (and in higher value) in crime than crypto (specifically Bitcoin). Because of the Bitcoin Blockchain, every transaction ever made is stored forever in a fully auditable format. In fact several of everyone's favorite AML terrorist groups have specifically asked their supports to NOT use Bitcoin because of the immutable ledger. PLEASE consider updating the content.

Given the course material, it needs to be updated frequently. I found a number of errors, either typos or unclear sentences. I copied a few of them in case you're interested.

While this is an important topic for financial advisors, much of this course read like a rundown of legal cases. I was pleased to find the exam focused on the broad concepts, but I did not find the rundown of legal cases to be particularly useful. I would have preferred some sort of summary.

Great topic but some of the dates are outdated and have already passed in regulation/legislature/fraud areas.

Totally confusing! But I'm old.

There were lots of errors in this course, (countries that were referred to as counties, for example). It seemed as though not a lot of effort was put into writing or editing. The delivery of the AI voice is very boring, although I did appreciate literally being lulled into a couple of naps while participating in the course.

This module was overly technical in use of terms and acronyms

I like the read to me versions only if I can speed up the voice. I get annoyed otherwise. This is a great feature.

This course was poor. Very little on explaining how the blockchain is created, and way too much on now several year old enforcement actions. I felt this course was more into the enforcement actions than informing me how blockchain related entities could transform the financial marketplace. Big miss on this course.

This course was rather exhaustive - I'm glad the end quiz was only 10 questions!

I felt that this course was offeredf as if the student had an understanding of digital currency. The terms and descriptions were somewhat oblique. I took the corse because I do not understand the subject AND after taking the course still do not understand the intricancies of digital assets/

As a document to read it was ok but could have been laid out better. Would prefer a course with powerpoint and better overview to reivew this complex topic

The course needs much improvement. Some content is not clearly communicated, and in some instances, the wrong word is being used. Example: Section 5.4 "Counties" is used which is incorrect according to Webster's. I think the proper word should be Countries.

Thought I knew the Crypto World, but I learned A LOT with this course.

The content was very comprehensive and covered a lot of material, however it was presented in a way that allowed the content to be understood.

More practice questions would be helpful and this subject is complicated. Thanks

This should be a 5+ hour course, not 2 hours. Rather upsetting because the length of this course was equivalent to an 8 hour course on WebCE.

The cryptocurrency course was tremendously long and seemed like there was a lot of duplication of themes, key words/terms, when following along with the reader it often times became redundant sounding.

a lot of new terms and concepts. It was harder than i thought it would be to learn. I put in 6 hours of study to pass the test. It should be a three hour credit . You should have more exam questions along the study course. I had to take the exam 3 times to pass.

Excellent course. Should be more than 2 credits based on the volume and complexity of the material, though the exam was fairly easy. Great presentation and explanation of the content.

Literally learned NOTHING. Awful course. Just a bunch of "fun facts" about crypto definitions and "history."

The very first section on definitions may be easier to digest if broken into smaller sections with practice exams in between.

Excellent content

I went through the whole course and it seemed to me that there were questions on the exam that weren't in the material. This material is hard enough to understand without such difficult questions, in my opinion.

This is from the course material: "Cons of Digital Assets Without a doubt, the biggest con to digital assets is that they are all highly risky and speculative investments." That's opinion and propaganda. Without a doubt? Says who? I'm doubting that this is the biggest con. I'd say it's A) learning how they work, and B) the learning curve to understand how to properly store them.

Some of the comments on pros and cons are a matter of subjective opinion. For example: I find proof of work using significant energy usage a good thing whereas the material says its a negative. The energy usage actually ensures the bitcoin network is more protect not less. Additionally, proof of work mining isnt solving a "mathematical puzzle" its generating random combinations of 256 0's and 1's through entropy to have achieve below a threshold target. Overall, this is one of the more accurate and nuanced courses I have seen. Well done.

this course tackled too much for one sitting. the questions were extremely hard and confusing - they were like those of a law school exam. the questions assumed you absorbed everything that was read. too much irrelevant information - information overload for a basic knowledge study

this course was way too long and technical, there seemed to be discrepancies in the information provided and test questions that were not clearly covered or emphasized in the content/material . There were was way to much irrelevant information and some the the grammar was incorrect

This is very difficult course. Many of the questions on the final are buried in the materials and not easy to find.

There seem to be typos in the materials (county vs country). The computer generated voice is not pleasant to listen to.
