There was one question in the first test (I think) where the correct answer was shown as the obligation to provide coverage for the client. I think you should add if the client is insurable. One cannot be obligated to get coverage for someone whose health makes them uninsurable. FWIW, sh

Some of the MEC info and the calculations on the las quiz before exam were hard to understand. But on so long a course I seemed to get a bit distracted and tired. But the WRONG answers to the quizzes gave me insight enough to help me with the final exam.

I all honestly I feel; once an agent has had their license for a total of 5 or more years without any infractions, we should have the option to attend a class with a licensed instructor who can do an overview and educate us on any updates that may have occurred in our licensed field.
Being over 80,but makes one think about elder financial abuse. It is for real not only with people but business as well. I could share several issues.with companies taking advantage of elders.

Hi, I would encourage WebCE to place a reorder button by the courses that the customer has already order in the previous year. Instead of having the customer to go hunt for the courses again, there should just be a button beside the listed course that says, 'reorder'. Sort of like what DoorDash does for its customer (LOL). Other than that, all was great :)

Even though I passed the exam, the exam chapter questions and final course exam questions were amongst the most difficult exam questions I have ever taken. I would not recemmend this course.
I found the proctor instructions to be confusing at first. The way it's described on the site makes it seem like you must have a proctor logged in using ZOOM meeting but I eventually found where it says it can be done in person with a proctor monitoring your exam.
Questions are worded very strangely and often make it difficult to understand what is being asked. Quit trying to trick people and just ask the question straight forward.

Crash course study or A.K.A Fast track systems are stressful. As long as my brain works right to retain.... So far course is well laid out.
This course, for whatever reason, ran smother. The voice reading was slower than the others for some reason. It was easier to focus on all questions. I learned a great deal.
There were lots of implied questions that were not fully presented during the presentation.
I use the voice option. I feel on this particular course; it went pretty fast. Words seemed to be ran into one another. Very little pauses.
Very informative information on Elder Abuse information.
This was the longest test i had to take. Too many variables and charts. Very informative information.

I like that it was not a timed exam and that it has the option to save and continue later. I am a single mother of three so it's great that I am able to save my answers and pick up where I left off when I have time to do so!

There were 100 pages of content to go through. It took me more than 5 hours to study this. There was SO much information I was pretty overwhelmed, but then when I took the test it really focused more on the basics of Life Insurance. Which I was very thankful about otherwise I might not have passed as there was so much information in the study guide. Thank you.

The only issue that I saw was that there were leftover programming codes on many different pages that designated the beginning and ending of 1 or more paragraphs.
When scrolling down or up my answers were changed several times. I had to watch very closely and double check my answers to make sure they weren't changed.
While this is a continuing education course, some sections present materials that are not defined until later sections as assumptions in the current section, and some concepts are not made clear until later sections or until they are presented via practical examples and application exercises. Not sure what can be done about that, but it was a frustrating issue for me, and it took going into later (other) sections to connect the dots. Also, the wording of certain concepts and test questions were confusing. In other words, I understood and knew the concepts, but he way things were worded made them seem ambiguous or misleading. Finally, in similar fashion, there were some near contradictions in use of concepts which were a fine line and confusing. I could point out specific examples if I could go back into previously completed sections. That said, overall, I have enjoyed the CE courses, as the information itself is very good and thorough.

It seemed to me that much of the study material was much too detailed and complicated for what is requited in CE. Also, I though a couple of the concepts were not correct, (but I could be wrong).

It really did take several hours to complete this course, where as other courses took a lot less than the credit hours received. It was deceiving and I did not allow myself enough time to really absorb the information. My fault for waiting until the last minute to complete my CE's.

When changing the audio volume for the read-to-me feature, it would be nice if it stayed where I put it instead of having to adjust the volume on each page.
The quiz questions for the last 2 chapters were awful. Half the time you asked what was taxable and half the time you asked what wasn't. Ask the question the same way every time. Let me just do the math instead of also then repeatedly re-interpreting the frame of reference. I know the tax situation, but was wildly confused by your questions as to whether I was supposed to provide the taxed figure or the tax savings.
Ther is no need to ask if you want to enable the auto read. Please stop asking that

Been using web ce for many years
Not everyone has the same skills and mine is not math. For people like me it would be better if the examples were more descriptive, step by step, when it comes to doing calculations. It took me a long time to understand and I had to make notes in a notebook to see where the results and numbers they give come from to explain and in the examples. That part was not easy for me but in general I love studying your courses.

The AI generated voice really was a drawback. It generally made it hard for me to focus on the speaking compared to the monotony of the voice and the mispronunciation of words. I wouldn't recommend utilizing that feature.
Read to me could have better narration that flows from section to section. Kind of runs together. The content itself was great. A little wordy at times where the examples definitely helped.

Not the fault of WebCE, but I find it preposterous that an adviser seeking to fulfill silly CE requirements is forced to sit for 3 hours when he/she could have passed all quizzes and exams with 100% correct answers in 60-90 minutes. What's more important, putting in time, or knowing the material exceptionally well???

The audio portion of the course was very robotic, perhaps even AI generated. The consistent cadence, and lack of voice inflection variation made it difficult to listen to. I prefer audio presenters who speak in a way that shows they are master presenters of adult learning.

I have been struggled with many CE sites until I found WebCE. Very clear and friendly using. Highly recommended.
Since there were no pictures or other visual representations in this course, it was hard for me to stay awake through it. 121 pages of dry material were boring, and it was too wordy. Some visuals to break it up would have been a relief. The content was good, however, and I appreciated all the real life examples of fraud here in our state.

CONTENT
Much of the course content goes into far more depth than is required for the exam which makes the content more confusing and intimidating.
There was a lot if information given and sometime overwhelming to remember for the testing
This course took me a longer time to get through than courses with twice as many credit hours. The calculations of the Dependency, Blackout and Retirement periods were hard to follow and although I finally understood them, it dragged out the time that it took me to master the course. The calculations were excellent to know, but were not a part of the exam, so I would have liked to know that in advanced so that I wouldn't have stressed out about taking the exam that I scored 100% on.
I had used another course; this course is exemplary in every possible way. I would definitely recommend this course and company

Misspelled an answer which gave a totally different meaning. Example: If an insured names minors as beneficiaries, the insurer might require that a guardian hold the policy death benefit proceeds until when? a. The minors were married b. The minors reach majority c. The minors are past age 30 d. The minors are retired I believe the answer is b, but majority should be maturity

Although I experienced numerous technical issues, once I ordered the course it was easy to follow.
The course that it states takes 7 hours to complete is not true. It is a misrepresentation of the course because when listening to the audio you have to wait and if you fail test keep taking it again. It was way over 7 hours. Also, too many policy calculations.
very good & quite informative course of web corse, but one point I tell u that 1)Term life 2)Whole life 3) universal ,these 3 products are only salable (90%) in whole USA,, why we are vesting our energy for10% ?

I passed all the sections but some of them were very challenging and it took me many tries because I couldn't fully comprehend some of the tricky sections, like taxation, and numbers sections. But overall I was able to gain a lot more knowledge.

There were a few topics that seemed to me to venture a little too far into the professional workings of a CPA, such as the tax advantages and disadvantages of estate planning concepts - areas only people with appropriate licenses should advise. Have been in the industry for 28 years. Half of the material in this course is VERY advanced for most life insurance sales professionals. Would suggest removing some of the detailed material on Life Insurance in Qualified Plans as an example, and replacing it with other material.
I found this course to be very insightful and I did pick-up some new information that was helpful. I really like the feature of the materials being read. I have been using WebCE for several years and I like the pricing structure.

I felt like that for some of the questions on the exam, which involved basic math skills, there was not always enough information in the question to accurately do the computations for the answers. It was super confusing!

This is really a waste of lots of time. Who would try to figure out this with a client manually? Really??? If someone actually could explain to a prospect what it all means so they truly understood it and it all was calculated 100%, it likely would be a some kind of miracle!! To many charts, too much manual calculating that probably is normally done on a computer program.

Base on other 3 hour courses that justified the amount of time it took to complete said course. This "4" hours course was in excess of of 4 hours to complete, Hence, re-evaluation of the credits for this course to be investigated and reconsidered for future purposes.

far too many uses of interrupted thought in the reading material. such as parenthesis, the use of "i.e.", etc. would be better to simply continue with topic continuity. these mid-sentence caveats are distracting. also the pace and inflection of the automated voice used for the reading can be very confusing. it's emphasis on many word locations is incorrect and pauses are missing where they should be in many cases.
The only thing that I didn't like is that after the read to me audio would finish, I didn't have an option for it to automatically go to the next section.
the monitor is not available all the time
1. You have to keep on changing the volume level each time you move on to the next page. 2. The search finder sucks. It will not take you to the highlighted section.
Who writes this material? The only positive thing about the course is that I don't have to take it for another two years.

It seems the explanations used to describe all the features, benefits, differences between policies, the explanations regarding taxation of insurance products should be made clearer and easier to read. I found I had to re-read the information multiple times to clearly understand the taxation criteria in particular. Try to further simplify this information.

Can't complain other then I have to keep taking these same basic courses to keep my license for selling life & health insurance and annuities. I did let my Securities licenses go in 2023 after 40 years. It just got to be too much of a pain.
I thought this course to be very advanced for my level of knowledge on life insurance. I thought it was designed for CPAs and tax attorneys. I thought the final exam was much easier than I expected.

It took me more time to complete. Some were quite challenging but overall, good.
I feel like a few of the questions in the exam were not clear. Such as the how much should they budget for their funeral. Was that for both of them together or for each of the seperately?

The reference to a "widow" in one of the questions (within the context of describing a person who might need additional help) was inappropriate in that it perpetuated an incorrect assumption that females are someone inferior to their male companions. It would be better to describe the person as a "surviving spouse" and not simply as a "widow".
I like that it is "open book" style. I do not like all of the added verbiage that must be dissected and often read again to understand the writers meaning. Too much unnecessary rhetoric.
Have used WebCE before and find them very reliable and easy to learn from their product.

The monotone reading of the material is so bad it's distracting. It's better to just silence it and read it's so bad. Get a human to read these not AI.
A lot of content is very detailed as to tax ramifications and we are not allowed to give tax or legal advice, to this level of detail is not necessary to retain.
The last question was a gtrick question Which constitites an unuathorized practice? i had it wrong but was a trick. i put refer client to an attorney for legal, in notes it stated never advise to get legal advise if you are not qualified. anser was draft a contract by behalf client...trick

There were a LOT of questions about group insurance; as a broker I have zero contact with group plans. I would say an improvement would be to take those agents that cover group and individuals into perspective more for testing and balance the questions out.

So complicated!!!!!! This course should come with some sort of warning. I spent at least six hours on this course and I skipped most of the last two chapters as it was way too confusing. This course needs some Recent prerequisites, like already knowing what all these types of insurance are. At the very least it needs to be organized in a way that is easier to follow instead of continually jumping back and forth. I feel like this should be more than 4 hours. Honestly, it should be about 8 hours, including some more content to make it easier to follow.

I liked the quiz questions because they were real world relevant to day to day field work. A lot of the information in my last course was quite esoteric and very detailed and although good to know, the average agent won't use it or could use the other professionals required ie. accountants and lawyers.

I found a mistake in the Glossary. The FINRA definition should read “An independent, nongovernmental organization that writes and enforces certain RULES FOR CONDUCT OF investment-related professionals and firms,” All Caps words added by me. I am not sure if what they write and enforce should be called rules or something else - I'm just reporting that what is there does not make sense without an additional phrase.

Youre questions are literally paragraphs. Its kind of bullshit that we have to read 50 pages of the same nonsense weve already learned and then read paragraph questions. 30 fucking paragraphs for one test is dumb. I will only use webce again if you manage to simplify these exams. the two hour course was half spent reading questions and thats terrible. I felt like i was reading the fucking harry potter series with these q and a's.

The course work was very long and difficult for me. Almost too much to take in (141 pages). I spent a lot of time reading on my own and listening to your audio. It was very complex for a 4hr CE course. I was very hesitant to take the exam as I thought I would not pass. I took the exam and thought it was much easier than I thought. I usually enjoy your courses. This one not so much but that is okay. I will be back as this works well for me. Thank you.

More examples of how taxation on the various types of life insurance would be helpful, as well as more examples of what types of life insurance are best in certain life stages (i.e. the need for Term vs. Whole vs UL vs IUL, and so on), as well as amount of coverage and optional benefits

My ethical course was very study friendly with each chapter. I passed with 100% on my first try.
I was expecting it to be pre-recorded by an instructor, so that threw me a little. Would like more practice questions along the way to break up the monotony of just reading. The videos were okay.

I listened to the course in full and it still did not complete the time requirement. I had to go back and play some sections again just to get my time. Also, it seems like the time to take the test should also count in the total time.

I need someone on the readings that speaks clearly, The first person was clear the second with a lisp was not. Please use only clear professional speakers which is what I expected to get when I purchased your produt.
The grammar needs improvement. There are continuous split verb phrases. It is awful. For example: She could also be going there - wrong. It should be: She also could be going there
The time to take the course far exceeded the 1 hour time limit...The course information should be reduced.

this course was not what i expected. These questions have too many possible answers and leave it to guessing what is the "best choice" out of 3 correct answers. I thought this was educational and not a exercise in "feelings"
in this course all the question on the exam seemed subjective and open to personal interpretation and not fact based. I found this course exam ridiculously hard to complete as no questions had exact answers.....its like a theology exam
This course equally applies to any insurance producer. I do not sell life insurance but found the course to be very useful. I think the examples used should be varied to reflect this

My only suggestion is that it would be nice to see something listed next to the course that said something like "meets 2 hr CA ethics requirement" or something like that to make sure we take the correct course.
The read-it-to-me audio is very monotone and hard to listen to. If the audio had a better quality I would more than likely listen to it instead of read.
The course materials were long-winded. I did like the quotable quotes throughout!

One dislike I found is the person names which you mentioned in the questions are hard to read and remember. The names can be simple enough like Sam, Peter, James , Jodi etc.

IRMI is a resource for me in developing and maintaining my industry knowledge. This course was very well presented in a logical manner that is tied to the real world.
Your timer is very slow. It added 30 minutes to my class time. Additionally, since the test is part of this CE time for testing should be allowed within the 3 hour requirement. This 3 hour class took me about 3 hours and 45 minutes.
I liked the ability to reinforce my answer with an immediate content review, search content by chapter. Excellent reinforcement.

The test on other courses don't need to make you feel like you're taking and ACT! We are just attempting to renew our license and most of us Agents do not sell products or advise clients. The test do not need to be that hard. Not this particular course but others that I have taking the test more than 3 times.
The course was well done. I want to be sure that Oregon gets notified of this continuing education as soon as possible. Well designed!

Developing own code of ethics does not seem to parallel insurance industry's expectancy of an agent adhering to THEIR code of ethics.
Additional quizzes more often throughout the course would be helpful and help people retain the information easier.

I could literally argue every single question in this test! I got almost all of them right on the first try, but it doesnt matter. These are the worst questions in the history of tests. i would literally pay someone to call me and talk to me about it. I took pictures of all of the questions. Seriously, someone needs to be fired for calling this shit english.

The shorter the corse the greater the factor of time versus hours needed to complete the material. Thus class took me over 3 hours of study to complete
People learn differently. Personally, I'm better in a classroom or virtual instructor setting. But since I'm forced to complete CE's online, this is as good as it gets. Thank you.
TEST question have too close of the correct answer. Almost the same. It was not completely clear what the correct answer is like. I also do no like what my hours credit is for this long study and test. Should get twice the number of hours of credit.

This course was well-written. It made me think about the things I want to incorporate into my own personal Code of Ethics. I appreciated the audio option a great deal. I'm glad I tried it! I really liked the short videos of scenarios illustrating the previous content. They helped the content "stick" in my mind, and clarified the content. Also, the video narrator had fantastic diction!!! Quite pleasant to listen to; I even began to anticipate the next one.

There was way too much information not needed that only was confusing, the math throughout the course and charts, this could have been a lot shorter and explained without all the confusion extra information.
This course is for life and annuities and is the closest thing to an ethics class for health. For those that do not deal with life or annuities, having to look up life insurance terms makes this class much harder than it should be.
I used the pdf version. I didn't understand it when there was a message to return to the online course to review a case study. I think the case studyshould be included in the pdf text.
Not being able to print out the training was a problem. However, I was told this was due to an NC require that you cannot control.
I like taking smaller courses (1 or 2 hours) vs taking 6 or 7 credit hours. Too long and hard to remember all of the content.

Some people may not have understood the ability to create their plan in regards to what courses they have taken within the 24 month cycle.
My only thought to improve your product is to have a more "life like" voice for the audio instead of a computer/robot sounding voice.

This course is much too long for 1 credit hour. The content could easily be one chapter and a test. (This is the price of your success; your courses take too long to complete). The automatic filing with the state and 24/7 printing of certificates are great features, but your courses are now too long versus competitors.
