I had a little difficulty understanding and figuring out whether I needed to complete a state-specific Long-Term Care course for licensing requirements in Colorado, although my home resident state is Florida. I was hoping your website and course selections would have quickly helped me determine what I needed to fulfill. I had to search in many different places and sites before ultimately calling my licensing and credentials people at my financial services firm.
It took me quite a while to figure out that I could click on the chapter to go search for answers i needed. This really slowed my progress, it took me way to long. I spent probably 15 hours total, including the test.
Your company makes the content clear and easy to comprehend. I appreciate the use of audio! I believe it really does make a difference when a person hears it, and reads along with the speaker. Thank you.
The history of the ins and outs of the LTC laws over the decades are not as relevant as the current laws in place. I regret reading that section as it misled me about how the policy laws work - thankfully, I kept reading, but was irritated to have been taken through out of date information, first.

The AI Audio reader is too artificial and robotic. Try to upgrade with a more personal/Professional voice. Videos and additional examples and scenarios would also break up the voice-only approach. It is also essential to give us the chance to print our certificates.
This was my second time purchasing CEU's and will likely be the last due to how excessive the courses were. It genuninely felt like a was taking pre licensing classes .
The study modules are not super clear on chapter exams. I appreciate that the final exam was not the same where i felt tricked on the answers. The content overall was excellent. I appreciate the read-allowed feature so i can read along and it's double duty to retain the content. Thank you.

A couple of the Chapter Quiz questions had duplicate identical answers. Several of the "search chapter" did not have the content for the question, this may be a linking issue? However, I very much like not having a final exam in addition to the chapter questions. That part of the format I like very much, and that would cause me to consider using WebCE for my next CE need.
The topics covered were WAY more in-depth than what the test questions reflected.

I all honestly I feel; once an agent has had their license for a total of 5 or more years without any infractions, we should have the option to attend a class with a licensed instructor who can do an overview and educate us on any updates that may have occurred in our licensed field.

When choosing which courses to complete it would be helpful to know only what’s required of my state and currently licensure as far as credit hours. The extra options are nice to see but in addition to what I already need is overall confusing and a little excessive in my opinion.

I had to re-take, and no one at Webce, or the Iowa Insurance Division could give me any good answers. Carrie at WebCe was very helpful getting me signed back in to take the Iowa course.

Some repetitive information
there is an inaccuracy in the material. when talking about taking policy loans from permanent life insurance it states that the loan interest rate is greater than the guaranteed rate credited. That is not accurate in every case. Foresters Whole Life Insurance offers a guaranteed rate that is greater than the rate charged for a loan.
felt like there were sections that went into a lot of detail for Washington State and others that were duplicative.
It would have kept my interest more if there were some video or other learning tools mixed in. It's already pretty "dry" material.

I wasn't sure how to answer the Website question, as i believe I found the course another way. I thought it was an excellent course, and I learned a great deal from it. It did a good job of clarifying/defining the roles of Medicare, Med Supp policies, Medicaid, and self-funding.
Had easy to read info and directive as to what would be covered.

I only deal with Medicare products and the content of the material although required for license renewal had nothing to do with my business. Hard to stay engaged!
The pdf was easy to download the question where all on the pdf just a matter of studying the material and passing the exam
Web CE is a very good product for this industry.
i prefer the videos because i can pause and write down the important data. but the flip side is that I could easily locate the missing information within the chapter using CTRL F. so i guess they cancel each other out.

There were 100 pages of content to go through. It took me more than 5 hours to study this. There was SO much information I was pretty overwhelmed, but then when I took the test it really focused more on the basics of Life Insurance. Which I was very thankful about otherwise I might not have passed as there was so much information in the study guide. Thank you.

This was way too long for a 4 hour CE class. I had the content read to me and it took over 8 hours to complete the course. The first 5 or 6 chapters could be cut in half because it was redundant to the last 3 or 4 chapters which talked about VA exclusively which is what the primary goal of the class is. This class would have been fine if it was an 8 hour CE class which is what it should be. I can't think of anything else that needs to be talked about in a longer LTC class. Make it shorter if it's just a 4 hour class!!

I definitely like that it reads to me. I wish I could change the voice, & just barely slow it down. Not as slow as it can go, but just a touch. I enjoyed the exam.
I didn't like this particular course. It was hard understand and there was no review of key points or glossary. I think both of those could have helped the understanding process.
Same Answer that I listed last time. Nothing changed. It is very difficult to find answers. It took so long. I have spent many hours studying and finding out the answers. I still have some courses left to study.
Due to the amount of material presented and the complexity of the text, this course should be awarded more than 4 credits.

terminal condition and chronic condition are both mentioned together early in the material. Chronic is mentioned a few times more, but terminal is not. No explanation on the difference of the two is given, nor is a definition of each.

Must read question carefully, they tried to confuse you by asking same question twice.

What was MOST HELPFUL to me were EXAMPLES of stated concepts.

My only complaint is the following. I used the "read to me" feature and it tooke more like 6 hours to go through all the material. I did a some pausing and revisiting of material so it took me closer to 8 hours to accomplish the same thing. This happens every time I recertify, but, variable annuity questions are always on the exams, but in the state of Michigan I can't sell variable annuities without a securities license, even though our licenses say Variable Annuities on them.

Very Good Overview of Life Insurance
Some other sections were so long and covered so much information that I had a hard time distinguishing the types of insurance or annuities clearly in my mind. I sell Medicare Supplements and this is my 1st CE class. Some of the material was overwhelming me. I'd rather see material presented in more sections, as not to bombard my brain with too much information at once.
I had to retake a couple of tests. Those sections (re: differences between various types of insurance) were not as clear as I'd hoped they'd be.

when you have the automatic reader reading the course for you, it takes double the time that is required with the State requirements. if there is a certain requirement of information of each course required by the state to complete a course, it should be communicated to the purchaser/student of the proper setting of the readback feature to comply with the hour equivalent. As well as whether a person can understand the information given at that speed needs to be a communicated. Basically the course took Almost twice as long as rock was required by the state with regards to continuing education hours.

A little more detail about WA Cares LTCI program (aka LTSS). Specifically, how does having the mandatory LTSS insurance impact/guide getting additional LTCI coverage (does it provide asset protection, etc.)? Assuming most WA residents will not have the LTSS exemption- they will likely be adding to the coverage.

It would be nice if the read-out-loud option wasn't so robotic. Hard to keep attention because of it's monotone nature. My firm has a human being read and record, and it's easier to absorb the information that way.

The WA Cares (chapter 8) needs to be updated with the latest opt outs (i.e. spouse of active duty military.
I disliked when I reduced the autoplay's volume, after pressing continue, the volume resets to maximum volume every time. I want the volume I set to persist throughout all the lessons.

I like the read-to-me audio feature; however, I think it could be improved to sound more natural in inflections, pacing, etc. I used the read-to-me audio feature offered on my computer instead because it sounded much more like a real person & was easier to comprehend. Also, the read-to-me feature could be improved by including a moving highlight that allows your eyes to follow where the audio is at. It would also be helpful if you could click on a certain word you'd like the audio to start from, so that if you need to go back & reread anything, you don't have to just guess how far back to rewind the audio to get to that section.
I liked the ease of the program and the ability to refence the chapter.

I enjoyed the audio feature on the course; however, it would be great to have a real person record the audio instead of an automated voice reading it. Having a real person read it makes it easier to follow along since the automated voice does not always pronounce words correctly or read sentences with the correct emphasis or pauses.

The one thing that I found missing was the Chapter Review Questions in the downloadable PDF. I truly appreciated and enjoyed the previous product downloaded back in 2022.. at the end of chapters, there were review questions. Aside from that, as always, love the WebCE format!

The course material was very deep and very time consuming. I would not recommend this course as it took 8 hours to complete. Content could have been shortened with the same learning potential.

This course was written much better than previous courses. Much easier to digest. It still contained significantly more information than was needed to take the exam. Would suggest trimming material still so that the time spent studying aligns better with the questions tested.

There were a few questions in the exam that did not seem to have been discussed in the content. However, overall it was easy to read and understand. I came to distinguish some aspects of SEC BI and NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation.

It is very hard to follow the computerized voice reading the material. A real person reading the material would be much easier to follow. The computerized voice doesn't include voice inflection and tends to run sentences together, making it hard to follow.
I found navigating the site to be a nightmare, perhaps because OAA has an arrangement to pay for it. I attempted to start at 11am on Friday, and was not able to actually start a course until after 4pm. I spent almost two hours that morning just trying to figure it all out. My OAA rep finally helped, but even with his help it took awhile to get it set up. It took me 20 minutes this morning to figure out how to get back to the page with my courses!

Content was great. However, the actual writer of the information may want to take a Grammar class. He/she mis-used An for A - frequently. We use 'An' when the next word begins with a vowel, we use 'A' when the next word begins with a consonant. Basic English folks.
Section 16 could have been better explained. Questions were misleading.
Continue to keep it simple, precise, and easy to find a reference using the chapters reviewed.

I liked the summaries and the short quizzes to check ones understanding of the chapter. However, sometimes the reading was difficult to understand, and more time needed to be spent re-reading certain sections.

I hate the length of the questions. You are using redundant terms. I could ask that question with 10 fewer words and it makes me think you are trying to trick me.
Really liked the 'Test your knowledge' interactive tools throughout.
It was not clear that I could stop in the middle and return to continue after a break.
I have been using webce for some time now, I'm just used to the program, very clear and educational.

I've been doing this for a while so I was able to understand the question but if one was looking for a direct answer it wasn't there for some of the questions. Normally, it's very clear but if you really take your time and read the all of the information, you will come out with the correct answer. Thank you! I love this program!

The AI voice wasn't highly appealing, so I turned it off after the first lesson section. I appreciated the content (mostly), but you may want to consider that not everyone who takes a particular course is proficient in every product you use for examples. This ends up leading to frustration because the product is stated, but not described, or defined. If you use a variable annuity in an example, you should clearly define what, exactly, it is.

Base on other 3 hour courses that justified the amount of time it took to complete said course. This "4" hours course was in excess of of 4 hours to complete, Hence, re-evaluation of the credits for this course to be investigated and reconsidered for future purposes.

It is open book Example: 4. the last in the last session: Tom owns an insurance policy that let's him protect some of his asset from Medicaid spend-down..... It could have read this way Tom spend down requirements if he needs long-term care under Medicaid . which type of policy does he owns, I would love to be part on the panel that come up with question for the test.
If an agent does not anticipate ever selling Long Term Care Insurance it should be a short short course if it is bundled to achieve the 24 hours needed. This course was too in depth and was like trying to learn the Internal Revenue Code! It was exhausting.
Some questions I couldn't find the answer to them in the chapters.

I thought the first seven chapter of this lesson were well broken down. However, the chapter that pertained to Washington State was by far the least enjoyable and drab.

Great balance. Read it to me audio was the key at age 66. The test question were challenging. No trick questions. One incomplete question i think. You asked about a hospital admission for an emergency surgery but did not list the number of days. I think you could have an emergency and not be in the hospital for three days. I'm beyond traditional memorization as a mode of learning. For decades I have not relied on my memory. IfI don't know the answer to a question - I don't guess. Your audio was very logical and easy to follow. It is important to know how the skilled nursing benefit works under Medicare. 100 days after a three day hospital stay. First 20 days covered at 100%. IF YOU DO YOU THERAPY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was not easy for me to print the course materials so that I could take it home to read.
Logging in and out constantly and having to go back through the routine every time to access material. Took an extra hour going in and out from Jones to Web CE. Couldn't it be much more simple than this?
Respectfully I have one area of concern. Under the title - No Comprehensive LTC Component - the statement "With regard to nursing home care, Medicare covers only those services that help a patient recover from an acute illness or injury. Payment for skilled nursing care by Medicare requires that the patient must have first been admitted and hospitalized for the same condition." I do not think this is correct because of the JIMMO Settlement of 2013. From the CMS.GOV website - In essence, the Jimmo Settlement Agreement clarifies Medicare’s longstanding policy that coverage of skilled nursing and skilled therapy services in the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Home Health (HH), and Outpatient Therapy (OPT) settings does not turn on the presence or absence of a beneficiary’s potential for improvement, but rather on the beneficiary’s need for skilled care. I do not mean to be critical but I would like to suggest a few things. There has got to be a way to avoid closely wording 2 of the 4 multiple choice answers. It only creates doubt and I feel it does a disservice to the learning objective. I want to learn, not get confused or frustrated. I find that spending time trying to find where, within the chapter, the correct sentence is, that allows me the learning moment I am supposed to take away from the sole purpose of these Continuing Ed Courses. Another observation or suggestion - - make the chapters shorter. The longer a chapter is, especially on confusing topics such as indexed annuities, the harder it is to retain the necessary information in order to pass the test. I got really frustrated this go around and I am a repeat customer. I come back year after year. I thrive in good, clear instruction and there has to be a better way to do that than this frustrating way. I really want you to know that this is just good old fashioned constructive criticism, no mean intent at all.

I understand annuities are life products, but the majority of life and health agents don't sell this product. Therefore I think this course should not be part of the bundle for Life and Health CEs, but an option. Annuities are complex financial products and I guarantee I won't remember much of this past the test, simply because it's not relevant to my business, at this moment.

Having a toll free number fore questions was very helpful; I had to call three times. All of the reps were very helpful.
read aloud needs to use highlighting. material is SO boring...how can you make it more interesting. More examples and Q&A mixed in.
I like the most was I could print the study material to self study with own path. Wonderful!

Good Course
Admittedly, I am a perfectionist. So, I read everything and to all the quizzes unlike many others who say they just want to pass. I want 100% accuracy. But, still, reading everything, doing all the quizzes, and then getting through these LONG Courses, takes all day! (I cannot do my CE renewals during 4th quarter -- I already work 14-16 hours a day. January is out of the question due to fixing 4th quarter issues -- still 14 hour days. So February, my birhtmonth, is when I have to get all my CE credits done. It is stressful because I still work at least 12 hours a day. My weekends in February are consumed with getting re-licensed. These just take too much time. Any way of condensing the courses? The are good and valuable, but after having done this every two years, five times now, I am tired of them because I know my stuff. I guess everyone doesn't, but these can be taxing. Even my teaching certificate only had to be renewed once every 5 years. Sorry -- but I feel better having vented. But, UGH! I have only done 2 courses this weekend. - 7 credits. I still have 17 more credit hours to go and only two more weekends to get them done.
Instructional videos instead of just basically a text book would be much more helpful. I did like how most if not all quiz questions were similar to the test questions.
For myself, this took about an extra hour beyond the required time. Between the modules and the practice tests and 25 point test, it was 5 hours and I stayed the whole time with it. Online courses just take so much longer than stated time for myself. Always preferred in person learning.
i am a slow reader. I like that most of the content of learning material is audio.

If the actual test questions were at the end of each chapter would be a betterment like the other courses
I suggest having several different voices in the read-it-to-me. Having just one voice to hear makes one stop listening.
I have used WebCE for a very long time. I'm not exactly clear on how/why I ended up in this particular part of the WebCE "ecosystem". I only look for CE materials sporadically, so these sorts of things aren't really "top of mind" for me...
Was user friendly and content designed to let me think logically.
Tests at the end of each chapter makes it much better than having only one test at the end of the course. All the courses should have this approach.
Only comment is that the narrator is a bit robotic sounding.
It took a few minutes to locate the PDF .
I usually go to the CE that offer the best price for CE.

Excellent progran
The Audio instructions were awful. The instructor (AI I suppose) doesn’t complete sentences correctly. He runs words together and doesn’t pause in sentences where he should. It just seems like a computer saying words. There is no inflection and things get lost in the annunciation.
Very easy to understand and follow along. Test questions were on par with the course material.

It was very important to read along when the speaker was talking because the speaker was very robotic in his voice. He lacked pauses and emphasis on some of the content that would have been helpful.

There were a LOT of questions about group insurance; as a broker I have zero contact with group plans. I would say an improvement would be to take those agents that cover group and individuals into perspective more for testing and balance the questions out.

The inclusion of the CA state Fraud materials was not clearly described or what to do about the form in the materials wasn't clearly communicated.
I have been taking several WebCE courses for this renewal period. I feel that this particular course's study questions were more ambiguous than for other courses; also this course seems to be "teaching" to the "test" with more emphasis on the NAIC/SEC 2020 changes than the general Ethics courses - the course name implies it is mainly about Ethics for a producer - not all insurance producers are concerned with annuities or life products - make an effort to cover the other areas of insurance - THAT would be providing practical knowledge of ethics for other lines.
It is user friendly. I will not use another carrier for my continuing education,

I learned more from this course than I have during my required studies for the insurance licensing examinations in the states of Virginia and North Carolina. I wonder why the content I learned from the exam preparation courses did not cover the critically important content offered by this course.
Took way longer than 3 Hour's
I spent 20 hours in reading the content and taking the test. You are offering only 4 hours CE for this course. No colourful presentation of the concepts to follow it easily and to remember. You should offer 8 hour CE for this course. Very hard to complete;

some chapters are very long. so when you want to look back it is very helpful if for example the answer is located in section 1.4 as opposed to chapter 1. This used to be done a long time ago. I would like to see that feature again. hope this makes sense.
This is the easiest course containing information on all of this subject matter I have taken since I started in the industry 12 years ago

The course is way too long, 80 questions on the exam. 8 hrs of content? you get lost in the content after 6hrs.

I enjoyed the PDF. It was clearly written.
The trigger for having to repeat an entire section is too short. I had to repeat a couple of sessions simply because I was listening to the audio and not tracking the written content and did not realize that the section had concluded. I realize there is a clock in the upper right corner of the page, but if you are listening and not tracking the page, you can miss it. Add a few seconds to provide time to recognize that the section has concluded.
Once again, I don't feel the credit hours reflect the time required to actually learn the materials for later recall and use.
My Course did not come with the audio version. With the amount of reading that accompanies 24 hrs of CE, Audio-reading would be a nice option to have.

I appreciate that we can speed up the audio. Typically, I can read 2-3x faster than a normal reading speed. However, educationally it is very beneficial to both read and hear it at the same time. Thanks.

I thought with a couple of the unit's, there was to much duplication of the course material within each separate unit.
I primarily use WebCe because of the efficiency in completing my CE requirements.. Everything is presented in a clear and concise manner. Can't wait till I'm grandfathered out of the requirements. Thank you.

The audio of the lesson was a pleasant surprise and help to pace my study. It matched the text and I was allowed to pause, resume and replay the material for review. The material was well organized!

This is a good course. However, the required reading, if using the "read to me audio" is significantly more than four hours. This is misleading and longer than the four hour CE credit this course qualifies participants who pass the exam to receive. Some of the content is repetitive and the course could be edited to more accurately reflect a four-hour time commitment.
Far too much material for only 4 hours of CE credit. Should be 8 to 10 hours of CE credit
I was surprised there were no quiz questions after each chapter. In this particular course, it worked out fine, but hope the other courses I will be taking will have practice questions.
It seemed to me that some of the content and questions were more about life insurance basics and not ethics.

Easy reading, easy learning; relevant and contributed to the achievement of the learning objectives; course material pinpoint all important and essential keys to be a producer with good ethics.
I liked that the comments/advice is a reminder that it is the way we conduct ourselves. Maybe more story type examples..a lot of agents are visual learners

I didn't like to fact that I had to adjust the sound every time I went to a different chapter or section , it would be good to only have to adjust the sound / volume once per chapter and it stay at that same level all the time.

Wish I didn't need to be logged in for 4 hours to complete content I can review in 30 minutes and still score very well. Probably more feedback for the state and their rules than webce, but wanted to share it regardless.

This material was great and very straightforward and not too hard and not too easy and because it was right in the middle I was able to get it done efficiently and learn at the same time.
Don’t make the courses so long. Split them up. Also get an App. Using a browser and logging back in constantly is inefficient

The content regarding policy delivery face to face should be updated as most life policies are electronic delivery per the life insurance companies policies.
I had a very difficult time signing in to the website. It would not accept passwords that i tried which i knew should have been ok. I wasn't informed ahead of time if i could interrupt the course for a break.

I am required to take an Ethics course since I am a licensed Medicare health/life insurance agent. The course was good and discussed ethical sales. But the exam spent more time testing me on which life insurance product was appropriate to sell (not in my wheel house) than how to sell any/all insurance ethically. Disappointing test.

While the read it to me feature wasn't something I needed; it's nice for those who seek that. I also appreciated being able to read it myself (since I read fast) and advance forward.
Hate to say it but the exam was way to easy, not that I want it to be difficult but maybe just a little bit more challenging
Very thorough, great information and lots of material. However, way too detailed on the partnership, medicaid and medicare. Also, I assumed that if I followed the voice for each section, that would comprise the 4 hours but that was not the case. I learned after about 4.5 hors that I should go at my own pace and it took what I thought it would be 4 hours up to about 6 hours. Very frustrating at that should be spelled out in the instructions and directions.
Make it known if using the content being read aloud will take over 4 hours.
