This 2-hour real estate CE course on flood insurance was timely and informative, especially after the Helene disaster. It offered useful tips and safeguards for realtors and their clients. The delivery was better than a similar class I took—thanks to case studies and interactive videos. Overall, a helpful and worthwhile course.

Some of the legal language was confusing, so some explanatory information following the Articles that help break it down would have been good. It required re-reading them many times. In an in-person class, there would have been more description and discussion. I liked the examples and mini quizzes, and there could have been more.

Prior to taking this class I did contact customer service because I specifically needed a class for Legal Issues in Colorado. She went through the courses with me and recommended this class and I agreed. I would recommend that elective classes define what category they fi into to.

The print in the test your knowledge and other blocks, text was very small. Hard to read. I use my cell phone to study and it was difficult to enlarge properly. This is separate from the rest of the course where you can adjust the font size.

Course is advertised as 2.5hrs in length while the actual running time is 3hrs.
I always hated fair housing continuing education in the past through this company because it was more geared toward remembering dates the laws were enacted, which did not help apply the concept...this training was very much appreciated and more real world concept learning.

There is a lot I don't like about this course and the Realtor code of ethics that seem to be completely one sided against the realtor. Because of this, I believe the rules need overhauled and course redone. I could elaborate more but feel I would be talking to a tree.

One of the most beneficial classes I have taken in my 40 years in real estate sales.
Although this was a more refined course. Others have been brutal and content saturated and can be lessened. Repetitive. I feel horrible for anyone taking notes to study, as myself on this course.

Seemed like dated material. As to a couple of test questions, I could dispute your answers.
There was one example that I believe was incorrect. It stated when you have a flood policy of $150,000 but the loss is $200,000. You would get the $200,000.

I would like to have seen specific laws, etc. that pertain to the state of NY. As this is a course for NY agents required to renew licenses. Including only federal laws is not sufficient. You advertise courses for states so you should include relevant information for that state. Also you reference NAR codes too often. NAR does not have any oversight of a real estate license. The state grants the license and oversees rules and laws pertaining to maintaining that license, not NAR. So it isn't appropriate in my view to reference NAR in a licensing course. Also, a licensee does not have to be a member of NAR or any other realtor board.

When listening to each Article, there is an updated date provided at the end of which can be distracting when listening to the course. Not sure if it's necessary.
Some confusion regarding Articles and SOP in regard to new circumstances as result of the NAR lawsuit settlement. Might be helpful to flag information that may require additional explanation or may possible revisions and edits regarding new mandatory practices and procedures.
As this is a NY course I would like to see content on this subject that pertains to rules/laws etc in that state. General knowledge is good but this is a NY course so you need to include specifics related to that state.
I like the presentation of the information but I don't like the robotic sound of some of the audio reading. Feedback along the way would be helpful. It is a LOT of information to take in with no way to hold on to it. Quiz explanation of answers would be helpful.

I have been taking these courses with you for years and I believe this was the best one yet. The test was not long and drawn out. I missed the PDF but oh well and I am glad no proctor was needed, I hated having ppl sit with me while testing. Lastly, I still feel like the chapters were to long but oh well!

There was a section that talked about being encouraged to bring a complaint against a realtor. I never have, I know I can, but my answer was wrong because I said I hadn't been encouraged to bring a complaint. That was weird. There was another section that seemed wrong too, but I can't remember specifically which it was....

It would be good to incorporate more interactive technology, such as videos. Also, being able to modify speed of audio would be great. I felt sound was a little too slow reason why I chose to read instead of auto play.

Too long. I have been working with this course for 3 or 4 days off and on. This is too long. Probably easier to spend 2 full days listening to an instructor and taking the exam after the course.

please make it State Specific. Many times it said based on your state. Would like to know what my state law is. This applies to all the course material not just the code of ethics.

The longer courses are hard to get through. Understanding California requires the licensee to set in the course a specific amount of time but the longer courses are simply difficult to sit though.

It is fairly good
I consider myself to be proficient in the design of the pace. I have found that your lessons exceed 3 hrs more often than not. I believe there is some repetition in the lesson that slows the pace. If I were to take a similar class in a classroom environment, it would not exceed 3 hrs. Otherwise I enjoyed the experience.

I like the audio that is very helpful
First time I took a class from WCB and enjoyed it.
The course is very user friendly. The format is excellent. I have used this company several times for my CE credit. I recommend this program highly.
I liked the text to speech, i do wish the whole chapters was read to me in one go without having to go to the next page every few minutes

I am sure that I am learning more using this platform as opposed to a live speaker/classroom situation.
Some subjects were too deep and you got the point without going on an on
Course was informative and super convenient but the narrator put me to sleep several times. The material would be much easier to learn from with graphs or more illustrations.
This is likely to be my last license renewal, but I would use this course again if needed.

Thank you - the ease of use was great and the recorded voice was very clear - I often have a hard time hearing / understanding, but it was good.
Florida law uses the terms "customer" and "client" differently. In Florida, buyers and sellers are the "client" of the brokerage, and the "customer" of the agent. This is somewhat conflicting with the information in this class.

I would like to see more interaction through slides, demonstrations, case studies, then just text book type material. Some peope find it more interactive to keep their attention or learn better through this process.

I practice in NYC and do not know of any person who is a REALTOR(registration) as mentioned throughout this course. I found the ethical and legal information useful but most/all of the REALTOR organization material irrelevant.
