Overview

Life/Health Insurance Law in Oregon is designed specifically for Oregon agents, providing three hours of study on the subject of insurance laws in this state. The course explains selected Oregon Insurance Code provisions that apply to life insurance, discussing the requirements of the Code with respect to accelerated death benefits, incontestability, insured statements, policy loans, and claim payments. It also looks at certain Code requirements with respect to individual and group health insurance as the state's laws changed to comply with provisions of the Affordable Care Act.
