Virginia Laws and Regulations for the Funeral Services Industry

Overview

The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of the laws and regulations that govern the practices of the funeral services industry in Virginia. Covering select portions of Virginia funeral service law (Code Chapter 28, Title 54.1) and regulations set forth by the Virginia Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers (18 VAC 65-20). Successful completion of this course enables the student to fulfill the one-hour continuing education study requirement on Virginia laws and regulations.
