Insuring Pets

Overview

The NAIC’s Pet Insurance Model Act, which requires specific training for producers selling pet insurance, has been adopted in a number of states. This course meets all the regulatory requirements of the Act.  However, it provides added value by also explaining the coverages available for pets under a number of different types of policies. This holistic approach allows agents to advise their clients as to all of the risks and protections available for their pets.
