This six-hour broker responsibility course is mandatory for Texas brokers who sponsor salespersons, designated brokers of a business entity, and licensees who are delegated supervisors. Brokers are responsible for the authorized acts of their sponsored sales agents and, as such, must be familiar with the regulatory aspects of managing, operating, and supervising a real estate brokerage firm in Texas.
This includes being knowledgeable of the responsibilities of delegated supervisors and team leaders, compliant advertising, agent competency, and handling trust accounts. This course is also mandatory for sales agents who have been made supervisors by their broker.
