Broker & Salespersons

  • Mandatory Subject Matter "R" courses: 6 CE hours
  • Electives: 12 CE hours
For those licensees who provide Property Management services or who supervise a licensee or licensees who provide Property Management services, 3 hours shall be required in each two year period in a property management course(s). These courses are designated by including “PM” or “RPM" as a part of the four-digit course identification number.

Each member of a Team, as well as their Designated Broker must complete 3 hours in courses on Teams or Team Leadership, which are approved and designated by the Commission within 180 days after being designated a Team Member or Team Leader or in the case of a Designated Broker, within 180 days of the creation of any Team under the Designated Brokers supervision.

When does Nebraska Real Estate CE have to be completed?

11/30 biennially

Can Real Estate CE courses be repeated?

  • Electives: Courses cannot be repeated within 4 years from the original course completion date.
  • Designated R: Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

Can Real Estate CE course hours carry over to the next renewal cycle?

Excess credit hours may not be carried forward to the next license term.

What is the Nebraska Real Estate license renewal process?

The Nebraska Real Estate Commission must receive renewal applications and renewal fees on or before November 30. Licensees will not be able to complete or submit the renewal form unless continuing education has been completed and Errors & Omissions insurance has been verified by the Commission.

What are the WebCE Nebraska Real Estate CE course requirements?

  • WebCE courses are classified as online education courses.
  • Students must read the course material and answer each set of end-of-chapter quizzes with a score of at least 60 percent.
  • Licensees are not required to pass final exams for CE courses.
  • Nebraska requires ARELLO certification for all continuing education courses. ARELLO requires students to complete a MANDATORY survey immediately upon completion of a course. If a student fails to complete this survey, the course completion certificate cannot be printed, WebCE will not be able to report course completion to the state, and the student will not receive credit.

What is the access period for WebCE Nebraska Real Estate CE courses?

12 months from the original date of purchase, unless otherwise posted on the course description page and student dashboard.

How often does WebCE report Nebraska Real Estate CE course completions?

Every business day to Nebraska Real Estate Commission. It may take up to 10 days before you see the credits post.

Does WebCE supply a certificate of completion for Nebraska Real Estate CE courses?

Online PDF certificates of completion are available to print immediately after the course is completed.

What are the Nebraska Real Estate CE requirements for non-residents?

Non-residents need to remain in good standing in their home state and are not responsible for taking Nebraska CE.

Are there any CE exemptions?

Licensees may use continuing education approved as Mandatory Continued Legal Education by the Nebraska Supreme Court if subject matter of such meets the requirements of Nebraska Real Estate License Act, Title 299, Chapter 7, Section 003.01A.
