20 CE hours total

All licensees must complete 30 hours of post-licensing education within one year of licensure, in addition to the 20 hours of continuing education required for license renewal. WebCE does not currently offer post-licensing courses for Alaska.

• Commission Designated Core Course: 8 CE hours
• Electives: 12 CE hours

1/31 every even year

Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

No excess CE credit hours may be carried over to the next year's license term.

Licensees must renew on or before the January 31 of every even-numbered year to continue practice in Alaska. There is no grace period to practice on a lapsed license. Renewal forms will be mailed at least 60 days before the expiration date to the last address you provided to the board. Licensees will certify the continuing education requirements have been satisfied during renewal process.

• WebCE courses are classified as online education courses.
• Students should read the course material before completing an open-book non-monitored exam. Students will not have access to the final exam until the student’s time in the course equals the number of approved credit hours for the course.
• No more than 10 CE hours can be completed in a 24 hour period
• Exam passing score: 70%
• If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

12 months from the original date of purchase, unless otherwise posted on the course description page and student dashboard.

WebCE does not report course completions to the Alaska Real Estate Commission.

Online PDF certificates of completion are available to print immediately after the final exam is passed. The licensee must keep a copy of each certificate of completion in his or her file for 5 years and provide proof of completion upon the Commission's request.
