Those licensed as a Broker or Broker-Salesperson for 40 years or more may submit an application for CE exemption.
The following may request a waiver of CE if one of the following are true:
- Individuals who suffer an incapacitating illness
- Individuals who are on active duty service in the armed forces of the United States for one year or more of the two-year licensure period
- Individuals who had other substantial and unavoidable hardship. Financial hardship, unreasonable delay, and conflicts with business or personal obligations shall not constitute a basis on which the continuing education requirement may be waived.
An applicant for a waiver of the continuing education requirements shall request the waiver in writing on a form prescribed by the Commission and provide documentation that corroborates the applicant's certification as to the basis upon which the waiver is sought.
