7/31 every odd year
Can Funeral CE courses be repeated?
Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.
Can Funeral CE course hours carry over to the next renewal cycle?
Excess CE credit hours earned in one license term may not be carried forward to the next license term.
What is the Vermont Funeral license renewal process?
Three (3) courtesy renewal reminders are sent to the email on file starting approximately 6 weeks prior to the renewal expiration date. Licensees are required to send in evidence of continuing education hours at the time of renewal.

What are the WebCE Vermont Funeral CE course requirements?
WebCE courses are online approved self-study courses with non-monitored open-book final exams. Students should read through course material then complete exam.
Passing score: 70%
If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.
What is the access period for WebCE Vermont Funeral CE courses?
12 months from the original date of purchase
How often does WebCE report Vermont Funeral CE course completions?
WebCE does not report course completions to the Vermont Board of Funeral Service.
Does WebCE supply a certificate of completion for Vermont Funeral CE courses?
Online PDF certificates of completion are available to print immediately after the final exam is passed. Licensees should keep all certificates on file for 5 years for auditing purposes.

Anyone who holds an active Funeral Service Provider license for the State of Vermont must meet all CE requirements even if they do not live in Vermont.

Licensees licensed for less than 1 year will not be required to complete continuing education until the end of the first full, 2-year renewal period following initial licensure.
