Are there any subject area requirements for Missouri Real Estate CE?

Brokers & Salespersons

  • Core: 3 CE hours
  • Electives: 9 CE hours

For the 2024-2026 and 2026-2028 renewal periods, the CORE topic is fair housing. WebCE’s course, Fair Housing: It’s Just Good Business, has been approved to meet this core requirement.

When does Missouri Real Estate CE have to be completed?

Can Real Estate CE courses be repeated?

Courses cannot be repeated more than once in a 2 year license term.

Can Real Estate CE course hours carry over to the next renewal cycle?

Excess credit hours may not be carried forward to the next license term.

What is the Missouri Real Estate license renewal process?

License renewal for Brokers begins in April with a deadline to renew on June 30, 2024 by 6:59 p.m. License renewal for salespersons begins in July with a midnight, September 30, 2024 deadline. In order to renew online, address and name information must be current, and continuing education courses must be on file with the MREC.

What are the WebCE Missouri Real Estate CE course requirements?

  • WebCE courses are classified as online distance education courses.
  • Students must read the course material and answer each set of end-of-chapter quizzes with a score of at least 60 percent before taking an closed-book non-monitored final exam. Students will not have access to the final exam until the student’s time in the course equals the number of approved credit hours for the course.
  • Exam passing score: 75%
  • If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes.

How often does WebCE report Missouri Real Estate CE course completions?

Every business day to the Missouri Real Estate Commission. Credit will show up the next business day if licensee has authorized education to be public.

Does WebCE supply a certificate of completion for Missouri Real Estate CE courses?

Online PDF certificates of completion are available to print immediately after the final exam is passed.

What are the Missouri Real Estate CE requirements for non-residents?

All Missouri licensees must meet Missouri's CE requirements.

Are there any CE exemptions?

The following are exempt from Missouri CE requirements:
  • Individuals who have a serious physical injury or illness throughout the two (2)-year license period immediately preceding renewal of license
  • Individuals on active duty in the armed services throughout the two (2)-year license period immediately preceding renewal of license
  • Individuals who are licensed to practice law
  • Licensees who are at least eighty (80) years of age
  • Individuals who are members of the United States or Missouri Senate or House of Representatives at any time during the renewal period to which the waiver applies
  • Individuals who are members of the Missouri Real Estate Commission during any portion of the renewal period to which the waiver applies.
